The town of Conway is located on State Route 116; the village center is approximately 6 miles west of I-91 in the Berkshire foothills of western Massachusetts.

The entrance to the Conway School’s campus is approximately 1/2 mile east of the village center.

By Car

FROM LOCATIONS EAST OF CONWAY:

To get to the Conway School from Interstate 91, take Exit 24 (coming from south) or Exit 25 (coming from north) onto State Rte 116 North, which heads west and uphill toward Conway on a road with numerous curves.

• Approximately 4 miles from 1-91, you will see the Conway Grammar School on your right.
• Continue for 6/10 mile and you will pass a large wooden sign for Conway Festival of the Hills on your right.
• Continue 2/10 mile after that sign, and as the road curves to the left, watch for a gravel pulloff on your left, between large stone outcrops, with signs for CSLD, and #332 at the entrance to the driveway. There is also a blue “Conway School of Landscape Design” highway marker sign located on Route 116 about 100′ before the driveway.
• Turn left into the driveway. Proceed slowly up the 1/2 mile-long driveway; bear left at the fork; then continue uphill and around the curve to the parking area. Park and walk to the school building 50 yards ahead. (Accessible parking is near the building.)

FROM LOCATIONS WEST OF CONWAY:

To get to the Conway School from the west, follow Rte 116 South through Ashfield, then continue approximately 7 miles to Conway center.

• Continue east through the village center of Conway; as you are leaving the village heading uphill on Rte 116 you will pass the Bank of Western Massachusetts’ yellow building on your left.
• 3/10 mile past the bank, watch for the gravel pulloff on your right, between large stone outcrops, with signs for CSLD and #332 at the entrance to the driveway. There is also a blue “Conway School of Landscape Design” highway marker sign located on Route 116 about 100′  before the driveway.
• Turn right into the driveway. Proceed slowly up the driveway for 1/2 mile, bearing left at the fork; continue uphill and around the curve to the parking area. Park and walk to the school building 50 yards ahead. (Accessible parking is near the building.)

The nearest airport is Bradley International Airport, located between Hartford, CT, and Springfield, MA. From Bradley, you can rent a car or call Valley Transporter, which provides hourly transportation to and from Bradley.  The school is approximately an hour’s drive from the airport.
