Kerri Culhane ’10 is associate director of Two Bridges Neighborhood Council, a non-profit advocate
for the diverse communities across Manhattan’s Lower East Side. She leads Two Bridges’ engagement in community planning & urban design in collaboration with city agencies, political leaders, universities, designers, local residents, and other community-based organizations. She currently spearheads the South Street Stakeholders Coalition to reconnect public and private uplands to the East River waterfront through innovative, world-class environmental design. Over the past 15 years, Kerri has consulted on projects ranging from detailed documentation of historic architecture to landscape-scale conservation efforts; she came to Conway to explore the design process as a way to integrate her interests in natural resources conservation, cultural resources preservation, and the cultural landscape.
