At the break of dawn on Monday, June 2, students Marie Macchiarolo and Trevor Buckley landed in Manila, Philippines to work on their spring term project. They will spend ten days in Tacloban, the city hit hardest by Typhoon Haiyan on November 8, 2013. When they return to Conway and finish the term at the end of this month, they will deliver a “Neighborhood Guide for Environmental Site Assessment” for Leyte Province, home of the city of Tacloban.
