Thank you, Al Rossiter!
Al Rossiter, who has served on Conway’s board for twelve years, including as vice chair for the last three years, retired from service at the school’s fall board meeting.
A retired English teacher, Al was the first parent of a Conway graduate to serve on the school’s board.
At Conway’s fall 2014 board meeting, board chair Ginny Sullivan ’86 awarded Al with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the Conway community. The certificate reads, in part, “For 13 years you have supported and nurtured the growth of the Conway School as parent, donor, advisor, cheerleader, critic and trustee, shepherding its growth from a local to a regional and now international voice in designing holistic solutions to global issues at every scale, through both education and practice.”
From 1993-2000, Al was director of studies and assistant headmaster at Buckingham, Browne and Nichols School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. He holds degrees from Yale (BA) and Wesleyan (MA).
