Laura Marx is a Forest Ecologist with The Nature Conservancy’s Massachusetts chapter. She works on a range of environmental policy, forest science, and conservation work. Much of this work aims to increase the use of natural climate solutions – actions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase carbon storage in forests, farms, and wetlands. She also leads the four-state Green Mountains to Hudson Highlands Linkage (aka Berkshire Wildlife Linkage) Partnership, which works to protect a wildlife corridor that stretches from southern Vermont to northwestern Connecticut. Laura has a PhD in forest ecology from Michigan State University and has taught at Michigan State, Westfield State University, and the Conway School of Landscape Design.
